Mirepa Investment Advisors Engages Regulators from  Tanzania on Tour to Ghana

As part of a five-day tour to Ghana, Mirepa Investment Advisors (MIA) was honored to host a 12-member delegation from the Capital Markets and Securities Authority (CMSA) of Tanzania on the second day of their visit.

The session, held at MIA’s office, was chaired by the firm’s Chief Investment Officer, along with the Executive Director and the Head of Legal and Compliance. Together, they provided an in-depth overview of Mirepa’s investment philosophy, operations in private equity and private credit, and its approach to supporting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Ghana.

The interactive meeting offered the visiting delegation valuable insights into the Ghanaian private capital ecosystem, including regulatory considerations, fund structuring, due diligence processes, risk management, and impact measurement. Discussions also touched on best practices in investor protection, governance, and compliance—key areas of interest for the CMSA as it works to strengthen Tanzania’s institutional capacity in private equity and venture capital regulation.

MIA is pleased to contribute to regional capacity building efforts and looks forward to continued collaboration with peer institutions across the continent.
